3 tips for selecting the right reach schools

When it comes time to apply to college, you will need to have a short list of contender schools. One or two of those will be so-called “reach schools.” So how do you go about choosing your reach schools?
Check out this article. It details three tips that could make selecting reach schools, ordinarily the most difficult schools to identify, relatively easy. First, consider your personal statistics and be open to the idea of reaching slightly above your statistics. Taking your 3.25 GPA and applying to a college with an average GPA of 3.4 might be a good bet. Second, look beyond the prestige factor. Third, be admissions savvy, and know how to leverage your extracurricular activities.
