8 important lessons from a college senior

The most important lessons are often those learned outside the classroom. One Indiana University senior offers eight pieces of wisdom for high school students about to start their college journey.
Chief among the wisdom? Be yourself. Everything falls into place when you are true to yourself, but don't be afraid to try new things as you figure out who you really are. That means saying "yes" to opportunities. That also means making yourself at home in your new home town, whether that's a bustling place like Boston or a true college town like State College. All of this is only the tip of the iceberg, though. From having new experiences to falling in love, check out this list for some sound advice for making the most of your time in college.
Would you add any pieces of wisdom to the list? We would love to hear your comments below.
