The college admissions process is unduly stressful for students and parents. Developing strategies to deal with the major issues related to college prep can save families from having a constant feeling of anxiety.

One Long Island college prep expert Wendy David-Gaines identifies four areas of stress that need to be addressed. From deadlines to finances, families can create positive strategies that take the guesswork out of college admissions. Families should create a long-range calendar to track upcoming deadlines. David-Gaines also recommends that families make smart financial decisions daily, a strategy that will make evaluating college finances much easier.
