Many students feel like college admissions offices are mysterious, secretive places — and they don't really know how they work.  If this sounds familiar, then we've got a video that's going to clear things up for you.

It's a documentary that was shot by a TV station in Indianapolis, called WRTV. They gained unprecedented access to a top-ranked, private university to give viewers a rare look behind the closed doors of the college admissions process. For eight months, Butler University allowed their cameras to record all parts of the admissions process, and five families welcomed them into their homes as high school seniors made the biggest decisions of their lives.

You can watch the video here.  It's about 22 minutes long, but it is definitely worth watching if you're going to be applying to college.

We'd love to get your thoughts. Does this video give you a better understanding of what really happens in a college admissions office?
